The iconic venue, Whisky a Go Go was packed when Ace Frehley hit the first notes on stage a bit before 10 pm. Ace has been blessed with a great sense of humour and this night wasn’t an exception. His “trademark” jokes were there, as well as the laid-back atmosphere and vibe. The audience really seemed to enjoy the show and as an experienced Ace Frehley concert goer, it truly was an entertaining, energetic, and fun 1,5 hours. The audience witnessed the famous smoking & lit guitar acts, as well as the “trademark” guitar solos. Ace played a bunch of classic KISS tunes and also some great picks from his strong solo albums. That combination worked remarkably well again and the setlist was a bit longer than Ace’s previous show in L.A. when warming up Alice Cooper at The Greek Theatre last spring.
